CNC Machinist

Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in Alabaster, Alabama. This is a direct-hire position and it's working in an air conditioned environment!

*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Plan machining operation by reviewing blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and machining parameters
* Machine materials to customer specifications
* Program machines
* Change tooling, setup machines, transfer commands to CNC modules
* operate CNC machines, and insert control instructions
* Review program specifications to set machine parameters
* Modify cutting programs
* Control coolant systems and maintain machines
* Clean machines
* Perform manual machining on manual lathes, drill presses, and mills

*Experience Needed:*
* At least 5 years of CNC machining experience
* Must have CNC programming experience
* Experience with Milltonics MB20 CNC is preferred
* Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC Machining is preferred
