Experience:

• 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license prior to placement start.

• Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

Must have some ICU experience - preferred

Minimum of 1 year experience in a stepdown ICU or Intermediate Care Unit required. Knowledge of cardiac-related medications and rhythm analysis and previous care of BIPAP patients preferred but not required.

Days of work are Sunday – Saturday on a day/night rotation. Hours and days of work are variable.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process; directs patient and family teaching; provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Telemetry, Dressing Changes, Vents/BIPAP, IV Starts.

ICU staff nurse position requires completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses and ACLS certification.
