Sign-on bonus eligibility: Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night shift Registered Nurse Position in the Intensive Care Unit.

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.

Minimum Required:  

  • RN License required.
  • Two years nursing experience required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire, ACLS within six (6) months of hire.
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

Preferred / Desired:

  • BSN Preferred.
  • Previous experience working in Critical Care preferred.
  • Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy preferred.
  • CCRN certification preferred.

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend.
