Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations primary role is to identify and create efficiencies within the sales organization with a goal of accelerating sales. This includes identifying the sales team's pain-points and developing strategies to streamline internal processes to improve sales productivity for the company, with special emphasis on the CRM. In addition, this role will oversee all Small Business Program operations.

This role will require process and project management, reporting and analysis, training end users, and data-driven business recommendations that support the Sales organization. The role will partner with Sales leadership to drive operational improvements based on analysis and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Sales Support, and Finance. This individual will support sales representatives with CRM enhancements and training to ensure data integrity through the proper use of sales tools.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Proactively identify problem areas within our teams, processes, and systems, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to understand, design and implement process optimization
  • Execute reporting cadence, data support, and recommendations to assist Sales Teams' reporting process.
  • Support ongoing sales efficiency improvements
  • Ensure the integrity of the CRM database and create efficiencies through work with engineers and consultants on CRM projects to develop an established communication plan and build continuity through well-defined processes.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline process, ensuring integrity of opportunity data, identifying improvements to CRM and sales processes, and providing training as needed.
  • Set expectations and delivery timelines in accordance with the business requirements to meet budget and schedule objectives within the CRM
  • Provide Sales Strategy recommendations through the analysis of various data sources.
  • Oversee all Small Business Program operations
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Small Business operations, including growing existing business and generating new business
  • Further develop reporting capabilities and execute Sales Analysis

Requirements:

  • Sales Acumen: A robust understanding of the sales process, enabling you to support the sales team effectively.
  • Systems: CRM (Salesforce)
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills to interpret CRM data and provide actionable insights.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to provide sales leadership to the Small Business sales team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with various teams and departments, driving data-driven insights through comprehensive reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, given the volume of projects managed throughout the year.
  • Communication: Stellar communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with sales representatives, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proven expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is executed to perfection.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships across various departments and teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or comparable work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy or Finance function.
