Head Teacher - Child Care Center

Odyssey Learning Inc. is launching a new satellite location in East Norwalk, Odyssey Early Learning Center, serving infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Odyssey Learning Inc. operates a child care center that is accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children. Odyssey currently serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Children participate in a variety of hands-on learning experiences that promote exploration and inquiry. Teachers are given extensive professional development experiences and are supported by a Site Manager.

We are currently seeking head teachers for hire at our satellite location which is located in East Norwalk. Teachers are given extensive professional development experiences and will be supported by a Site Manager. At Odyssey we encourage and expect teachers to increase their knowledge while facilitating the learning of young children!

Qualifications:

• BA (preferred)
• CPR Certification (preferred)
• 2+ years working with children (minimum)
• A passion and commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of young children and families
• Hard-working, dependable, and reliable with an eagerness to learn
• Working knowledge of CT Statutes and Regulations as well as NAEYC Standards

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
