Requirements:
- Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
- Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
- Have a strong sense of urgency with the ability to work independently.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred experience with Borescope devices
- Preferred experience with Excess Metal defect removal inside of cored metal castings.
Specific Duties:
- Perform borescope inspection of the cores of all assigned products/castings.
- Ability to identify defects and perform delicate rework using fine tools.
- Execute and manage rework procedures on identified defects.
- Communicate and coordinate with quality department and leadership on identified issues/trends
- Perform visual inspection to ensure quality is delivered to our customers.
- Pass inspection/audits in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures.
- May perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
- Records on a daily basis all work performed and correct distribution of work time identifying same by operational codes. Must follow the number routing card in sequence.
- Keeps the work area clean, orderly, and in safe condition, following all safety rules.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed below.
- The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
