National Remediation Project Supervisor

The qualified candidate will have experience (8+ years) preferably in the Environmental Services or Remediation Construction industry.

Essential Functions:

The Project Supervisor will be responsible for running projects and directing field teams on various remediation projects. This position will work closely with the assigned project manager.

• Must know all job functions and responsibilities of field crews

• Supervise, lead, and direct field staff to assist in the completion of assigned tasks

  • Work closely with Project Managers to plan, execute, and close out projects

• Safety Focus – must insure all employees comply with safety policies and procedures of HEPACO, client, and regulatory agencies

• Evaluate project specifications and direct field crews to efficiently complete projects

  • Manage project budgets and identify out-of-scope work and changes in conditions

• Interact professionally and effectively with onsite customer and vendor representatives

• Work with HEPACO clients to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget

• Ensure the safekeeping of equipment, vehicles, supplies, staff / company confidential information

  • Provide leadership and manage the projects, make decisions, solve problems, develop job procedures, complete all required paperwork associated with project and conduct all necessary meetings to perform the work in a safe and efficient manner

• Manage and ensure effective employee / labor relations, create an ethical, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment

• Establish effective communication methods on the project to identify and solve problems, manage conflict, and respond to grievances

• Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with Client Representatives at all times.

o Keep client representative informed throughout the work shift.

o Responsible for daily project documentation

• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Knowledge / Skills/ Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED plus 8+ years of work experience in the

Remediation or Civil Construction industry

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks and exercises independent judgment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• OSHA HazWoper 40-hour certification and SafeLand certification, preferred.
