Rental Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily rental operations in accordance with established operating methods, policies, procedures and state / federal regulations.
• Work directly with the sales team and customers to locate rental equipment, determine correct specifications, and communicate availability and rates.
• Administer rental invoicing processes and reports.
• Assist customers with invoicing issues, issuing credits and adjustments when required.
• Develop positive, long-term customer service relations.
• Coordinate shipment of rental, used, and stock equipment.
• Maintain records on all rental equipment, monitoring location and condition of all equipment at all branches.
• Maintain filing system
• Assist rental manager on various projects as assigned.
• Assist in fielding incoming calls.
• Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Work with all departments to ensure quality of customer service.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Prefer at least 5 years’ experience in the material handling or similar industry.
• Must be able to multi-task, be organized, communicate effectively, and have the desire to provide the best customer experience possible.
• This position requires an understanding of lift truck and other material handling equipment specifications.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma - Associate degree desirable.
• Five or more years administrative or equivalent experience.
• Candidates must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
