We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer for our growing Operations team! The East Region Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing all residential locations within the region, while developing successful programs and efficiencies. This function will develop population-specific programs to assure high quality resident care while achieving long and short-term business goals. The East Region Chief Operating Officer will supervise site administrators at designated facilities within the region and meet metrics & standards associated with this role. The Individual will replicate models of treatment which incorporate ARC’s successful program components with modalities of care that elicit successful long-term recovery outcomes. This position is a key member of the ARC leadership/management team, responsible for acknowledgement and implementation of the ARC culture, core values, and mission statement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead large, 100+ bed facilities.
  • Develop and implement staffing patterns utilizing a combination of Therapeutic Community (TC) and ARC’s clinical/medical model.
  • Lead ARC’s “Mirror Imaging Project”
  • Work closely with Regional Directors to align mission and business.
  • Ensure centers have substantial faith-based opportunities along with mutual-aid meetings.
  • Help coordinate efforts to make ARC’s programs more efficient and successful alongside Regional Directors
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Business Operations on business objectives.
  • Craft and implement replication training programs.
  • Establish and actively manage effective performance management processes (recruitment, selection, orientation, supervision, and evaluation) for staff members that achieve desired outcomes and encourage individual development. Ensure effective performance management is in place for indirect staff.
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement patient-centered models of care based on the populations served.
  • Availability to travel and work in centers as needed.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team at ARC to ensure all elements of the mission are strategically implemented.
  • The East Region Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for oversight and effective management of all functional areas of the campus providing client treatment and support including but not limited to, Clinical, Medical, recreational, safety/security, and physical plant.
  • Develop and lead effective replication projects as required with ARC program growth.
  • The Individual will be mindful of the cultural significances of each region.
  • As a member of the ARC management, actively participate in the overall planning, decision making and implementation processes for corporate-wide strategies, policies, and procedures. Represent the needs of the site to corporate processes and represent corporate needs to the site. Effectively collaborates with corporate functions (Clinical, Medical, Finance, Vocational/Education, Client Access, Business Development, & Communications/Media
  • Engage with local community stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead all residential facilities in the eastern region.

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in the field of business, leadership, or management.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • CADC or another advanced credential required.
  • 8 years of experience in operational management
  • Demonstrated competencies in operations, quality management, staff development and management, resident and family support systems, community outreach.
  • Extensive experience working in the addiction field required.
