Machine Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Express Employment Professionals in Everett is hiring Machine Operators for first and second shift at a client in Marysville, WA. These are fulltime, evaluation hire positions that offer opportunities for overtime. 

As the machine operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, meeting performance and quality standards. You will work closely with heavy equipment operators and material handlers to coordinate material usage, maintain inventory, and perform necessary adjustments to optimize production processes. We are hiring for the following shifts:

First shift: $20 per hour

Second shift: $21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computer-controlled production systems for processing raw material ingredients.
• Coordinate with material handlers and heavy equipment operators to determine material usage for each machine.
• Ensure equipment is filled to maintain material flow to production lines.
• Perform machine adjustments to meet quality and quantity standards.
• Conduct quality checks, including weighing and volume checks, and communicate any issues to material handlers.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent material accumulation and follow safety practices to prevent injuries.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Inform maintenance personnel of any equipment problems encountered.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate computer-controlled production systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
