Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a fully-integrated Engineering and Design-Build firm, we specialize in sustainable architectural and engineering design, BIM coordination, and construction. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring project quality and safety. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills, who is committed to delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.


Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure project progress
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure project success

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license
