WHO YOU ARE

Our Transportation Analyst provides execution support to Logistics team by improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall transportation processes.

WHERE YOU WORK

In our ClosetMaid brand's manufacturing and distribution facility in Ocala, Florida. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Currently a hybrid role working from home Monday and Friday, onsite at Ocala facility Tuesday through Thursday.

WHAT YOU DO

Pre-Routing review of eligible orders for Fleet delivery

  • Evaluate all eligible orders.
  • Exclude orders or follow up where necessary.
  • Confirm final list of orders for routing by Fleet.

Detailed examination of freight expenses

  • Identify and resolve ongoing issues/occurrences to achieve KPI targets and mitigate expenses.
  • Locate cost savings opportunities or efficiency improvements.
  • Validate and confirm ERP shipping defaults are correct.

Troubleshoot transportation issues with service providers, suppliers, and customers.

  • Take charge to achieve successful delivery, and a lasting transportation solution.
  • Find alternative delivery options.
  • Simplify communication flows to stakeholders to achieve solution.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, DC management, and customer service to ensure seamless integration of transportation activities within the broader supply chain.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s Degree or higher lever education.
  • 2 years of Logistics experience.
  • Intermediate to Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote and PowerBI.
  • ERP or TMS experience preferred.
  • Self-starter, taking initiative with problem solving.
  • Clear and concise communicator with follow through; both verbal and written.
  • Efficient time and task manager with flexibility to concentrate effort on highest priority tasks.
  • Able to organize and analyze many data sources through utilization of analytical tools.

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations

Although not required, certification demonstrates professional competence and a broad knowledge of logistics. Certifications include those available through the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) and the International Society of Logistics (SOLE). Certifications available from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) are required for Department of Defense acquisitions.
