This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

The Lead Sales & Training Education Specialist leads the development, design, and delivery of sales training programs to achieve shortened learning curves and increased sales.

What you do

  • Assesses, designs, and evaluates training content, including but not limited to facilitating virtual classroom or e-learning presentations.
  • Manages and directs the development of training courses using instructional design methodology, adult learning principles, and blended learning philosophy.
  • Assists with content design and coordination of breakout sessions for major company conferences throughout the year.
  • Determines the most efficient, cost-effective method for delivering training.
  • Evaluates data and feedback as required in order to provide measurements as to the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Manages training projects including the functions of needs analysis, product demonstrations, reporting progress, and following the project through to completion.
  • Communicates with management to recommend training enhancements.
  • Identifies gaps in effectiveness of existing and future training.
  • May be responsible for delegating tasks to team interns, work assignments, and scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years Related Experience required.
  • Prior Insurance and/or Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Series 6 FINRA License (required to obtain within first year of employment if not currently held).
  • Previous experience utilizing Learning Management Systems
  • Content creation development and management skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Advanced PowerPoint Design skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Video Editing Software, Visme, Adobe, and/or Salesforce preferred.
