Overview

SRI International is currently seeking a Security Professional - AFSO/ACPSO to assist in the oversight of day-to-day security operations for Collateral, Special Access and SCI Program activities; implement internal security procedures; participate in various security functions including the development of security plans and executing the responsibilities of an Facility Security Officer (FSO) Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). This is an entry level position.

This is an on-site position in Princeton, NJ and will be 40 hours/week with benefits.

Willing to consider 30 hours/week for a fitting candidate.

Responsibilities
    Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, day-to-day damage, vandalism, loss prevention and other related security risk programs and meets required codes and regulations.
  • Coordinates activities with local police and emergency agencies as appropriate.
  • Maintains records, manuals and documentation.
  • Assists in the coordination and administration of security clearances and other security policies and procedures in accordance with the policies of the Department of Defense or appropriate agencies.
  • Assists the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) and Personnel security duties.
  • Assist with badging duties and receiving visit requests
  • Document control
  • Prepare and issue controlled media
  • Changing combinations and maintain associated records
  • Assist with access to Facility / Badge Access
  • Monitors all meetings and conferences for foreign visitors.
  • Ensures destruction of classified and confidential information in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assists in investigating security breaches and preparing reports recommending preventive or corrective action.
  • Administrative tasks such as filing, creating forms, tracking forms, coordinating facilities requests and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • Due to government regulations candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Candidate must be clearable at the Top Secret/SCI/SAP level.

The salary range is: $53,496.00-$79,578.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
