MAU is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager at our client in Morristown, TN. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will provide leadership for quality assurance and quality control functions, lead the team, and ensure the Customer Specific Requirements are met, which includes the authority to stop production if CSRs are not met. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of related direct supervisory experience
- Knowledge and experience in quality systems and standards, blueprints and tolerance standards, metrology, and materials science

- Tier-1 automotive industry experience
- Lead and monitor primary functions of quality assurance and quality control functions including acting as management representative for customer and quality system requirements, facilitating product validation, receiving inspection, calibration and conformance test systems, and supporting daily priorities
- Develop strategy to satisfy customers, shareholders, and team members
- Participate as key member of the leadership team helping to set direction for organization and support continual improvement
- Observe departmental performance, analyze cause and effect, and take appropriate action
- Develop and be accountable to operating plan and financial commitments
- Communicate operating plan targets, action plans, and status on a regular basis to all members
- Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance through Kaizen and leading positive change
- Support staff, specialists, and team members by providing training, instruction, and leadership with regards to their personal growth and job performance
- Support JNA initiatives for synergistic systems that will benefit the company in total
- Perform other tasks as required
- Responsible for supervising employees in accordance with policies and procedures
- Work is mostly performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards, and with substantial time spent working on a computer
- May occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection

- 10% - 20% travel by automobile and plane required approximately
