Join our team for a great opportunity!! Ambassador Personnel is looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to safety detail, excellent attendance, and a good attitude. This is a full-time 3rd shift Safety Coordinator position at a Poultry Plant in Douglas, GA offering competitive weekly pay, great benefits, and on-the-job training.

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Safety Department, administering all Safety policies, procedures, and programs to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Issue, track, and order all PPE for employees.
• Create, implement, and enforce all safety regulations for current and new employees.
• Walk the plant to make sure all employees are adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure all employees have received safety training and stay current on all safety training and paperwork.
• Maintain all employee safety records, training, and disciplinary files.
• Assist all employees in the event of an accident, conduct accident investigations, and all
required accident reports.
• Keep OSHA logs up to date and current at all times.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
• Prior safety experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills helpful but not required.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal (people) skills.
• Proficient computer and analytical skills needed.
• Detail oriented.
• 1-3 years of Worker's Compensation Claims Management experience.
