Systems Engineer - Senior

Essential Functions:​ Re-design/design and code superior technical solutions in accordance with industry best practices and standards. Perform all coding tasks in compliance with government security policies, procedures, and regulations. Create well-designed, reusable objects and interfaces. Develop modules that can be delivered as APIs Create and execute project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements. Consistently deliver high-quality services to clients on schedule Communicate complex information effectively to team and clients Ability to work in an Agile project management and development environment Ability to scale the solution to the client’s goals and budget Integrate existing applications with new modernized applications Create Documentation at the project level, code commits, code design, and code functionality ​ Required Qualifications: Experience in the development of web services and system-to-system communication solutions. Automate builds and deployment solutions Knowledge of various scripting tools and interactive command line shell scripting for automation systems tasks. Knowledge of various open-source and proprietary GIS technologies for data management Experience designing and implementing large-volume data transfer, syncing, and discovery solutions Experience in developing geoprocessing tools to support geospatial products Ability to create geo-processing scripting solutions for automation system tasks Broad knowledge and experience with data integration, data modeling, data editing, quality assurance, and quality control methods and practices, and integration of spatial and non-spatial data management systems Experience with enterprise search platforms Does this opportunity sound like a fit for you?
