Job DescriptionCompany Description
Legasea Marine is currently hiring Seasonal Employment for individuals who can cross-train as Spotter, Dock Hand/Fuel Attendants
Spotter: Act as a second set of eyes for equipment operators and individual workers on the site
Dock Hand: Assist loading and unloading vessels, securing boats to docks, monitoring facility systems, such as pump-out station
Fuel Attendant: Greet customers, assist with customers' needs as they arrive and depart. Stock shelves and coolers; utilize point of sale system to document sales transactions
Pre-Requisites:
- Exceptional personal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment, where job responsibilities will regularly flex
- Ability to adapt to unknown situations
- Strong work ethic
- Must be a good swimmer
- Mus be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have basic math skills and ability to count a till
Responsibilities:
- Assist equipment (specifically forklift) operator to ensure all safety measures are followed when moving vessels around the marina
- Assist Marina guests with general boating needs such as boat and trailer moves, dock line handling, merchandise purchases and ice delivery
- Assist the Marina guests with receiving and launching boats
- Assist Marina and guests with fueling
- Manage customer sales through point of sale system
- Clean and wash boats
- Provide Marina guests with the best experience possible
- Ensure docks and equipment are always operational
- Maintain and clean restrooms, grounds, docks, storm preparation
- Assist Customer Events
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
