Job Description
The Holiday Inn Madison at the American Center is accepting applications for a weekend breakfast Server . Hours are Saturday and Sundays from 6 am until about 11:30 am. Position is hourly pay + TIPS

Job Description:
This position requires a motivated, dependable, and detailed-oriented individual with good people skills, who can multi-task and demonstrate a guest-focused attitude while responding quickly to guest needs. Our team members are positive individuals who know how to exceed guest expectations while maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism.

Hours per week:
  • Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) from 6 am to about 11 am
  • Ability to work more weekends if desired
Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming and seating guests as they enter the restaurant with a smile
  • Accommodate any special needs or requests of guests
  • Being friendly and helpful to guests as well as fellow staff
  • Taking orders from guests and relaying to the kitchen staff
  • Delivering food once it has been prepared
  • Bussing tables and light cleaning of the dining room
  • Prep and/or minimal side work
  • Thanking customers upon departure
  • Cross-training into other departments such as banquets, front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping
Desired Skill(s):
  • Handling cash accurately
  • Processing credit cards
  • Basic math calculations without a calculator
  • Using Point of Sale software
  • Making change accurately
