Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Coil Feed Set-up Operator to join our team. As a Coil Feed Set-up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coil feed press machines to produce high-quality stamped metal parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the coil feed press machine for production runs.
- Load coil material onto the machine and ensure proper alignment.
- Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed rate, and pressure, to achieve desired results.
- Monitor the machine during production to ensure proper operation and detect any malfunctions or defects.
- Conduct regular quality checks of produced parts to ensure they meet specifications and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings or tooling to correct any issues or deviations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational problems that may arise during production.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements/Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating coil feed press machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of tooling setup and adjustment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Proficient with micrometer and caliper readings.
