Job Title: Coil Feed Set-up Operator

Location: Goshen, IN

Shift: 1st

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00

We are a small family-owned company that encourages innovative thinking and strive to improve processes with the knowledge and feedback of our team members.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Coil Feed Set-up Operator to join our team. As a Coil Feed Set-up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coil feed press machines to produce high-quality stamped metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and prepare the coil feed press machine for production runs.
  2. Load coil material onto the machine and ensure proper alignment.
  3. Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed rate, and pressure, to achieve desired results.
  4. Monitor the machine during production to ensure proper operation and detect any malfunctions or defects.
  5. Conduct regular quality checks of produced parts to ensure they meet specifications and maintain consistent quality standards.
  6. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings or tooling to correct any issues or deviations.
  7. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimal performance.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational problems that may arise during production.
  9. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements/Preferences:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience operating coil feed press machines in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  5. Knowledge of tooling setup and adjustment.
  6. Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
  8. Good organizational and time management skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  11. Proficient with micrometer and caliper readings.
