Mechanical Engineering Technician

We are excited to announce the opening for a Mechanical Engineering Technician who will join our R&D Team in Huntsville, AL and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling and fabricating a diverse range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic hardware
• Pioneering test facilities and prototypes
• Data collection and analysis
• Orchestrating experiments, troubleshooting components, and meticulously documenting findings to drive project success

Basic Qualifications:

• You must have an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field; In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience may suffice
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience
• You must possess or can obtain an active SECRET clearance
• You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in traditional fabrication techniques encompassing manual machining (lathes/mills/grinders), welding, prototyping, plumbing, hydraulics, wiring, and assembly
• Expertise in instrumentation selection, installation, and maintenance, CAD modeling interpretation and modification, and a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals
