Accounts Payable Specialist

Schedule: Part-time, 15-30 hours per week. Full time possibility.

Availability: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Weekends when necessary.

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

The Accounts Payable Specialist provides payable accounting support to operations and accounting staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet payment deadlines.

Daily Operations

• Work cohesively with accounting team to make sure accounts payable processes are followed accurately.
• Ability to use productivity software such as Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks and Catapult.
• Accounts Payable Filing.
• Perform, review and manage the entire accounts payable process.
• Record credit and debit memos.
• Responsible for check run process
• Cutting the checks.
• Code, enter and match vendor invoices into QuickBooks.
• Analyze vendor statements for accuracy.

Key Attributes

• Working knowledge of Excel, General Accounting Functions, and QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience of working in deadline driven environments.
• Experience of ECRS Catapult is an advantage.
• File, organize and maintain files.
• Have at least 2 years relevant AP experience
• Excellent time management skills.
