Title: Registered Nurse – ER RN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Emergency Room
Location: Newburgh, NY
Schedule: Full-time, night shift 6:45 pm – 7: 30 am – varied shift, flexibility needed. Weekends are required. No on-call.
Pay: $48 - $62 depending on experience!
The ER Registered Nurse’s duties to include but not be limited to:
-Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
-Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
-Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
-New York State Registered Nurse license required, or permit.
-Current and active BLS certification.
-Staff that are assigned to work in the Emergency Department must complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training on a bi-annual basis.
-All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete a basic Dysrhythmia course and competency.
-All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete ACLS within 6 months of hire.
