Are you an experienced corporate tax professional looking for an opportunity to showcase your expertise and provide valuable guidance to clients? Join our team as a Tax and Accounting Manager specializing in Client Advisory Services. We're seeking a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the work of staff accountants responsible for preparing monthly compilations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, offering insight , advice and consultation to clients to support their financial goals.
- Prepare and review business and personal tax returns, while also assisting business clients with ongoing tax planning strategies.
- Manage installations for new clients and assist with any backlog of client work, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated group of clients, delivering outstanding customer service and fostering long-term relationships.
- Provide advisory services to clients, including business and financial advice, as well as offering support with computer and software systems.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing business tax returns and personal returns is absolutely required.
- A minimum of 3-6 years' experience in the accounting profession, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA candidate preferred, but certifications can be pursued while working with us.
- Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses, demonstrating proficiency in financial statement analysis.
- General knowledge of payroll taxes and sales taxes, with the ability to provide guidance on these matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
