Job Description:
This position will be responsible for packaging and shipment of product to customers as well as receiving in all goods & services. This person will be able to follow instructions as well as proven skills to multitask.
Required Skills/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work Keys testing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- ERP system experience- Previous ERP experience a plus
- Prior Military packaging experience would be a plus
- Prior use of shipping software/databases
- Prior shipping/receiving experience
- Accurate counting
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply , and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals.
- Ability to use scales/weights and measures.
- Ability to drive a forklift (previous forklift experience will be a plus)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills- (Good Customer Service mindset & skills)
- Self motivated, responsible and able to perform with little supervision
- Excellent previous attendance records
- Reliable, organized, focused and detail oriented
- Ability to lift 30-75 lbs (50-75 lbs would have partner assistance)
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret and Identify Military Packaging Codes and Other Contract Specifications
- Packaging & shipping of customer orders (Packaging & Shipping Process)
- Receiving in all goods and services by accurately counting (manually or by weigh scale) & entering that count into Job Boss (PO Receiving Process)
- Identify and assist in correcting errors on packing slips
- Delivery of items to specified locations or personnel
- Safe operation of forklift
- Make rubber stamps
- Conduct part marking as specified per Traveler
- Manage Packaging Supply Inventory
- Assist department in maintaining clean and orderly work area
- Performs other job duties as assigned
