Job Summary
We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to join our team. In this position, you will create weekly schedules for our designated staff, as well as oversee patient census to ensure enough staff are available for all shifts. Assist the Coordinator and Office Manager with any office needs, coordinating provided services to patients, and ensuring staff compliance, etc. An ideal candidate is easygoing, efficient, and essential in maintaining accurate & timely communication between office and field staff.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to those listed below:

Responsibilities
  • Establishes staffing patterns and creates schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
  • Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.
  • Interprets human resource policies for nursing staff
  • Assists with candidate screening, onboarding & in-service training/orientation.
  • Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
  • Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.
  • Answers phones and greet patients
  • Basic bookkeeping

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience in Home Health preferred
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal spills (dealing with patients, doctors, and staff)
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Calm, professional demeanor
