Automotive General Service Technician

Position Description:

Technicians will be accountable for performing quality tire installations; battery installations, lubrication, oil and filter service, inspection procedures; and various other mechanical repairs as required.  This position is technical in nature and requires a commitment and investment in personal training and development.  Obtaining ASE Certifications is strongly encouraged as employee gains confidence in completing repairs and services.

Requirements of Position:

• Exposure to the automotive service & repair industry
• Have the ability to communicate with others
• Have the ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs. regularly
• Have the ability to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment and tools
• Provide proof of a valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years of age
• Minors are qualified to apply for this position if they hold a work permit and participate in a State accredited Education/Vocational Program
• ASE Certifications or State Certification in an automotive technology program a plus
• Must hold a current driver's license
