Food Safety QA Manager

A fantastic, full-time opening for a Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager has become available in a food processing facility near Arlington, GA for an individual with 3-5 years of food safety quality assurance management experience in a manufacturing/food processing environment.

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree in Food Science/Microbiology/Chemistry is preferred.

Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality and Food safety training, British Retail Consortium (BRC), and mandatory regulatory training for all manufacturing, shipping and warehouse teams a MUST

Monitoring and verification of the Food Safety Plans Critical Control Points a MUST

Conduct quality audits, provide solutions for Non-Conformances (NCRs), Corrective Actions (CARs) and Preventive Actions (PARs) a MUST

Adherence to in-process control checks, sanitation plan and pest control a MUST

Management of customer complaints is a MUST

Completion and maintenance of customer audits is a MUST

Compliance with Federal, State, and Local food safety regulations is a MUST

Management of third-party auditing services is a MUST

Salary range of $75k-$90k, commensurate with experience
