Position Overview: As an Event Set up & Breakdown Crew member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events in Kihei and Wailea. From setting up event spaces to dismantling equipment, you'll work alongside a talented team to bring our clients' visions to life. This role offers the opportunity to work in stunning locations, collaborate with industry professionals, and contribute to the success of diverse events.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently set up event spaces according to specifications provided
• Transport and arrange event furniture, equipment, and décor
• Assist with audiovisual setup, including speakers, microphones, and screens
• Collaborate with vendors and event staff to ensure timely execution of setups
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness and organization throughout the event
• Break down event spaces post-event, including packing equipment and furniture
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests

Requirements:

• Prior experience in event setup and breakdown preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations in Kihei and Wailea
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
