Web Site Designer

We are representing a top-rated landscaping and yard services company. They are seeking to better leverage their digital presence, and therefore are in need of a web designer on a project basis to design and manage their new company website. The candidate will work closely with their management team to develop an engaging and interactive online experience that showcases their services, embodies their brand identity, and drives customer leads and engagements.

Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualize and design visually compelling websites for their company.

2. Work closely with their management team to identify their brand personality and translate it into a visually attractive and user-friendly web presence.

3. Ensure their website is fully functional across various devices—desktop, mobile, tablets, etc.

4. Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve their visibility on search engines.

5. Incorporate online booking functions to streamline service appointments.

6. Embed quality photos and videos, testimonials, blogs, newsletters, and other rich content to provide a robust user experience.

7. Ensure the website conveys their core service offerings, mission, vision, and values effectively.

8. Ensure a high level of standard for design elements, website functionality, and customer experience.

9. Keep up with the latest web design trends and technologies and implement them as applicable.

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Website Design or a related field.

2. 3+ years proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

3. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.

4. Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.

5. Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.

6. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites and understanding of user interface design (UI).

7. Knowledgeable about search engine optimization principles.

8. Detail-oriented and creative problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10. Awareness of web accessibility standards and how to implement them.

11. Capable of juggling multiple clients and projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.

12. Highly creative with the ability to work systematically while contributing new ideas.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and be skilled in various web design software and programming languages. They will create a visually appealing, user-friendly, and SEO optimized website to provide a seamless brand experience for our clients and ultimately drive business growth.
