Requirements :

• Must be licensed in MI

• BLS and CPR certification preferred

• Must have a clean license with no malpractice reports

Skills :

• Medical and caring skills, to deal with employee medical problems and care for them in a comprehensive way

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with employees and management at client site, to encourage and work with them to live healthier lifestyles

• Discretion and commitment to confidentiality and careful communication

Responsibilities :

• Primary care: provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical exams, and ensuring employees' overall well-being.

• Urgent care: respond promptly to urgent medical cases, accidents, and injuries on-site. Administer immediate care and determine the need for further treatment or hospital referrals.

• Prescribing medications: assess patient conditions and prescribe appropriate medications following established guidelines and formulary. Monitor medication management and educate patients on proper usage.

• Employee relationship building: establish and maintain positive relationships with factory employees, promoting trust and a comfortable healthcare environment. Act as a resource for health-related inquiries and concerns.

Weekly schedule:

• Hours: Monday-Friday; 6:00a-3:00p (full time, salaried role). No weekends or call requirements. We are closed for all major holidays.
