Saddle Sticher , Perfect Binder, cutter operators

• Operate Guillotine Cutting Machinery, Folder Machinery, Saddle Stitch Binding Machinery, or Perfect Binding Machinery
• Maintain the equipment and keep the machine running
• Continuously monitor quality and conditions while assessing the machine functionality
• Staging pallets and completed pallets
• Visually inspect finished product quality and certify quality to customer specifications
• Maintain efficiency and minimize waste
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and work with maintenance crews
• Use a hydraulic pallet jack to move around paper and printed product

• Must have basic math skills, i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as fractions and decimals. Must be able to read a ruler.
• Must have auto, industrial, or some other form of mechanical experience
• Must have a good command of the English language — i.e. able to communicate effectively both orally and in written language (such as job tickets), as well as explaining information and asking questions of co-workers or supervisor.
• Manufacturing machine operation experience is highly preferred
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand and move around the work area for long periods of time
• Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to 85 pounds
• Support company safety policies and encourage employees to work safely
