IMKO is currently seeking several banquet bartenders located here in Columbia, MO.
Shift: Different events throughout the month.
Pay: $15/hour +cash tips
Position Summary: You will be responsible for serving food and beverages for guests in a courteous and friendly manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks.
- Mixes, garnishes, and presets drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
- Practice “teamwork” and “clean as you go” policies.
- Responsible for sanitation in or around the bar area/ banquet room.
- Retrieve and store bar glassware to proper storage.
- Work effectively and efficiently with the banquet team.
- Expediently communicate any challenges, guest complaints, or requests to the team lead.
- Set up and tear downs of events.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of bartending and customer service.
- Prior bartender experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of English and mathematical skills.
- Must be neat, clean, and well groomed at all times.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
