Job Title: Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Contract

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with approximately 55-60 elementary school students in the beautiful state of Michigan. The caseload may be subject to adjustment based on the needs of the school, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Michigan State licensure or eligibility for licensure (ASHA certification preferred).
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality therapy services to support student success.
