POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mechanical Welder works primarily on used equipment to perform maintenance and repair. This is an hourly position that reports directly to the Area Shop Foreman.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Service and maintain field machinery, including removing, cleaning, checking and replacing parts/components
- Fabricate metal machine parts (bend, cut, drill, tap, etc.)
- Build machinery following drafts/blueprints
- Welding
