Shift Supervisor

Under direction of Assistant Plant Manager, during an assigned shift, will supervise employees and oversee all production aspects of the Plant. Delegate work load and ensure completion of assigned tasks. Ensure that established production rates and quality requirements are met. Will supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel in different phases of plant operation. Will work with Assistant Plant Manager in scheduling maintenance. Assist in correcting and/or repairing mechanical failures. Follow production rate set by Plant Manager. Ensure product quality expectations are met. Will assist in training new employees and enforce Good Manufacturing Practice.

Will train 7AM-7PM for about a month before moving to the 3PM-11PM shift. Starting pay is $15.00 DOE. Benefits include: Medical, Vision and Dental insurance as well as vacation and paid holidays once taken permanently. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Strong computer skills

-Safety consciousness

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be able to work in a team environment 

- Must have a valid driver's license 

- Previous Leadership experience preferred 

- Industrial maintenance experience preferred 

EDUCATION:

- High School graduation or equivalent preferred 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

This work requires computer work for extended periods of times as well as bending, climbing and lifting both light and heavy objects. Must be able to work at elevated heights.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is performed indoors although some situations may require outdoor work. Communication with other people is constant. Travel is required for performing quality tasks. Outside work may expose employee to hot/cold and and/or inclement weather. Work involves exposure to high noise levels, dust, dirt, grease, chemicals, and machinery with moving parts. The use of protective devices such as masks, goggles and gloves are sometimes required. Some tasks involve working at heights.
