Facilities Maintenance Technician 4 - All Shifts

Position Summary: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician 4, you will be a crucial asset in maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. Your diverse expertise in mechanical systems, roof repairs, and general maintenance tasks will ensure the smooth operation of our industrial site and contribute to its long-term success.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) on various mechanical systems sitewide.
2. Perform roof inspections, identify leaks, and execute timely repairs to ensure integrity of roofing systems.
3. Apply your handyman skills to address various facility maintenance needs, including minor plumbing, basic mechanical system servicing, and low-voltage electrical repairs.
4. Collaborate with the facilities team to plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
5. Record maintenance activities accurately, including PMs, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical systems, roofing, or related field is advantageous
2. Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or job within the construction field
3. Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and more; understanding of steam/chilled water systems is a plus
4. Knowledge of roof repair techniques, materials, and tools is a plus
5. Familiarity with using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs
6. Effective communication skills, and willingness to learn and adapt

Pay:

$25-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience
