Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Shift: 2nd shift
Pay: $25-$33/hour based on experience
Job Description-
- Resposible for preventative maintenance of equipment on a daily basis
- Oil/liner changes
- Cleaning vacuum/scraping/grinding
- Cathode changes/rebuild
- 5S
- Filter Changes
- Replacing electrical and mechanical components
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Required Experience-
- 3 years in a technical or mechanical position
- High School Diploma
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications-
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Pass Mechanical Aptitude Test
- Preventative maintenance experience
- VTI experience
- Molding/coating experience
- PLC/Robotic programming
Physical Requirements-
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Have specific vision abilities related to depth perception and color vision.
- Comfortable working in a factory environment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
- Position may require travel, occasionally overnight, to perform essential functions.
- Position may require overtime on little or no notice, and work varied shifts to conduct duties.
