Kindergarten Teacher

Harvest Preparatory Academy is a public charter school serving PreK-12. HPA is dedicated to providing students a dynamic academic program of student-centered instruction in a college preparatory setting. We are currently accepting applications/resumes for the position of Highly Qualified Kindergarten Teacher for our 2024-2025 school year. 

COMPENSATON

• Highly Qualified Teachers starts at $40,250 and increases based on experience and education level.

DUTIES

• Prepare lesson plans and instruct students in accordance with established curriculum and student need.
  
• Develop, implement and evaluate daily lesson plans, to include scheduled activities and materials.
• Modify instruction to meet the needs of each child.
• Plan, organize and display classroom materials appropriate to curricular activities.
• Uses and implement classroom management techniques to maintain organization, orderliness, student safety, and a productive learning environment.
• Plans instruction and implement instructional techniques to encourage and motivate students.
• Evaluate students' performance regarding achievements in curriculum and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• A valid fingerprint clearance card.
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with all members of the staff and communicate effectively with parents.
• At least one year of field experience (student teaching) or approved internship.
