Responsibilities:
- Completes all regularly scheduled maintenance and heating and cooling units to maintain unit efficiency and manufacture warranties
- Repairs air conditioning and heating units including addressing emergency breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work on all types of residential HVAC systems including but not limited to gas and oil-fired equipment, heat pumps and air conditioners
- Ability to work with and without supervision, individually or in a team setting
- Performs quality work and is able to meet deadlines
- Performs other special projects and duties as assigned
- Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Must be able to agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment
- Excellent verbal skills with supervisors, co-workers, customers and vendors
- Timely and dependable
- Energetic personality
- Well organized with the ability to work independently and eagerness to learn
