As a new Pool Maintenance Worker, you'll start each day by checking water levels and adding chemicals as needed to maintain a perfect balance. You'll then skim the pool surface, clean filters, and ensure all pool equipment is in top-notch condition for our guests. Throughout the day, you'll keep a close eye on the pool area, ensuring safety rules are followed, and addressing any maintenance issues promptly. To thrive as a Pool Maintenance Worker, you'll need to have a good understanding of pool water chemistry and health code standards to ensure the safety of all swimmers. Regular testing and maintenance of water quality will be key. You should also be comfortable with daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, skimming, and brushing pools, as well as cleaning pool decks and surrounding areas. Being responsive to supervisor or guest requests is a must, showing your ability to adapt and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Regular testing and maintaining pool water chemistry to health code standards
• Daily cleaning duties - including vacuuming, brushing pools; cleaning/scrubbing pool deck
• Cleaning in and around pool buildings including locker rooms; emptying trash; moving/restocking supplies
• Demonstrate customer service skills when assisting guests as needed.
