Master’s degree in Social Work
Michigan professional licensure LMSW
Two (2) years professional experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders AND providing various trainings to diverse groups.
Master’s degree in Psychology
Michigan professional licensure LLP or LP
Two (2) years professional experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders AND providing various trainings to diverse groups.
Master’s degree in Counseling
Michigan professional licensure LPC
Two (2) years professional experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders AND providing various trainings to diverse groups.
Additional Requirements:
Employee must maintain valid clinical licensure to retain employment.
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during
work hours.
Experience developing and implementing a Multidimensional training curricula for Behavioral Health
professionals.
Must retain MDHHS qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional
Preferences:
Experience with implementing CARF standards and Critical Incident Stress Management and
Mental Health First Aid.
A working knowledge of content creation software programs
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Statement:
Under the direction of the Director of Training and Education, assists in the development, coordination and implementation of an overall training plan for behavioral health clinical staff training that supports the key focus areas to improve the services provided to vulnerable populations; focused on the identification of clinical training needs, new employee orientation and Clinical Process training, network training and specialized training in key areas; coordinate in the provision and implementation of staff training activities; provides mentorship and support to internal and external trainings; Assists in the continuous evaluation of trainings to meet the needs of staff, consumers, and external providers; participates on Critical incident team and interventions; assist in the development of trainings as related to the clinical regulations of credentialing bodies; performs related work as required.
