Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor at SpringHill Suites Cheraw is responsible for supervising / Inspecting the overall operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and maintained to company standards. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located in Cheraw, South Carolina.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $12 to $13 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and hotel discounts.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company and industry standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed.
- Schedule and conduct room inspections to ensure quality of work and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to address any guest concerns or requests.
- Maintain and update maintenance and laundry logs, as well as key control records.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Familiarity with occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
