We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing company located in South Orange County. This position will be working onsite.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Will e responsible for supporting the month-enc close process, monthly analysis and managing the GL accounts.
- Ensure proper capitalization of the fixed assets and depreciations. Prepare the monthly fixed assets rollforward.
- Responsible for the property tax returns
- Handle the intercompany billings
- Monthly accruals, journal entries and reconciling the GL accounts
- Monthly flux analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Will support the SOX compliance and audits
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly financial statements
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of solid GL accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry is required
- Solid GAAP accounting understanding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup and pivot table functions)
- Strong attention to detail and strong with meeting deadlines
