What a Service Technician will do:
- Repair small engines, pressure washers, chemical sprayers, log splitters, generators, and miscellaneous products
- Provide accurate quotes and estimates for repair work
- Maintain a high level of service standards
- Report all problems involving customer relations to management
- Ensures complete and timely follow-through with all customer contacts
- Prepare all paperwork and reports punctually and accurately
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Service methods and procedures
- Keep supervisor informed of job-related problems and concerns related to work activity
- Coordinate and communicate plans and activities with others to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach
What you need to be a Service Technician:
- High School education or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a small engine repair or related position
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to work a schedule based on the understanding of responsibilities and priorities
- Ability to accurately read and match numbers
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate with personnel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, push, and pull objects with or without reasonable accommodations
