Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handle drop-off and pick up of customers textiles (clothes, bedding, and other items)
• Tag/Barcode garments
• Create invoices for incoming orders
• Assemble orders once cleaning is finished
• Clean work area
• Satisfy customer needs
• Ability to advance within the company if proves reliable.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read/write customer instructions regarding requested cleaning methods and stain removal
• Excellent communication skills.
• Applicants should possess the ability to quickly grasp and retain the steps involved in utilizing our order preparation software, known as SMRT. This proficiency is crucial for efficiently fulfilling orders and ensuring smooth operations.

• Being prepared and available at all times to assist customers with a friendly smile when they walk into the store is essential. Your welcoming demeanor and readiness to help contribute to a positive shopping experience for our valued customers.
• Candidates should be capable of educating our customers about the cleaning process for all textiles. This involves providing clear and helpful information to ensure customers feel confident and informed about caring for their items.
• Proficiency in placing orders for alterations is required for this role. This entails effectively managing customer requests for alterations with accuracy and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous related experience preferred, but not necessary; on-the-job training provided

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Must be able to lift and/pull up to 15 pounds, at times
• Must have ability to use upper body strength to rack items to conveyor
• Must have ability to read fine print
• Excellent hand eye coordination

Hours: Friday 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Saturday 9:00am-4:00p.m. 

We kindly ask that applicants have reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality, as this role involves responsibilities for opening and closing the store. Thank you for considering this important aspect in your application!

To kickstart your journey with us, you'll begin at an hourly rate of $13.00 during your 4-week training period. Once you've confidently mastered all the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the role, we're excited to reward your dedication with an increase to $14.00 per hour! We're delighted to offer a flexible schedule for this position, with hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This dynamic schedule provides an excellent opportunity to balance work and other commitments while contributing to our team!
