Parts Specialist/Inside Sales

Outdoor Power Products is seeking a Parts Specialist/Inside Salesperson to join our team! 

We are a full-service lawn equipment dealership located in Tyler TX. We sell and service several nationally prominent brands of outdoor power equipment - from zero turn mowers to string trimmers to chainsaws and much more. Our business is growing and we are in search of a Parts Specialist/Inside Salesperson.

Core responsibilities include:

Assisting customers in person or by phone in a courteous and cordial manner using computerized parts lookup system, processing customer sales transactions, work orders, ordering, receiving, and distributing special order parts, maintaining parts and showroom stock, selling handheld, walk behind, and riding lawn equipment, as well as various other duties. This is a brief synopsis of the position but does not list all of the duties/responsibilities. You may be asked to assist in other tasks or departments as needed.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, personable, possess strong customer service skills, professional in appearance, detail-oriented, energetic, dependable and trustworthy. Must be computer literate. Parts experience and/or outdoor power equipment experience is not a requirement but some mechanical aptitude would be beneficial. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-noon. We offer a competitive pay plan dependent on qualifications plus commission.
