General Job Description

• Rough In
• Measure, cut, and, pull wire to each device location
• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools
• Install boxes
• Trim Out - Switch and Plugging
• Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals
• Panel installations
• Low Voltage Control
• Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning
• Supervise, lead, and train apprentices on your crew
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
• Organize tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions of the electrician

Job Knowledge

• Must have at least 3 years experience in Residential electrical new build and/or remodels
• Experienced in operate hand tools/equipment
• Experienced at troubleshooting electrical circuitry problems

Job Requirements

• Valid Drivers License and ability to drive company truck to projects
• Must have hand tools for the electrical trade
• Work from all types of step ladders, frame ladders, and all-size extension ladder
• Work in all elements of weather depending on job location, time of year (heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight)
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
