SUMMARY

The Bank Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of cage personnel and support of the cage manager and operations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supervising the Cage operations including the main bank and cage cashier duties (mutuels, gaming, and sports wagering).
  • Responsible for guest service, relations and disputes to assure that our guests have a favorable gaming experience.
  • Assists in the development of Team Members, conducts interviews and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention and termination process.
  • Abide by and ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed to safeguard the gaming assets and funds.
  • Review Cage activities and promotions with Cage Manager, then communicates the information to frontline Cage team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Cage profitability.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Two to Five years of experience in cage operations and supervision with a 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Race and Sportsbook Employee License
