Energy Efficiency Outreach Lead

Resource Innovations is seeking an Outreach Lead in San Juan, PR to lead market engagement efforts for LUMA Energy’s Energy Efficiency programs. As an Outreach Lead with Resource Innovations, you will be a key contact to contractors, distributors, manufacturers, vendors, architects, engineering firms, service providers, etc., focused on building and strengthening relationships and maximizing participation in utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs. Candidates with existing relationships with local contractors will be strongly considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts outreach, educates and assists trade allies so they may effectively participate in and promote LUMA Energy’s energy efficiency programs.
• Develops, manages and strengthens relationships with Trade Allys.
• Develops and executes outreach strategies to recruit new trade allies and retain current trade allies.
• Delivers sales and program training presentations to provide trade allies with an understanding of the value of incentive programs.
• Leads scheduled and ad hoc meetings/calls with the internal team, partners, and the utility clients on subjects relating to production planning, outreach activities, successes, challenges, and program pivots.
• Able to conduct property assessments for the purposes of project scoping and baseline data collection to inform program-eligible equipment upgrades.
• Completes on-site project verifications.
• Supports trade ally application completion, submission, and follow up.
• Trains and supports trade allies to use new software programs.
• Represents LUMA Energy at industry trade shows and customer home shows.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5 years’ industry experience.
• A background in construction, HVAC, mechanical, building controls, utility Demand Side Management (DSM), energy efficiency design, lighting, or other building-related experience is preferred.
• Have a valid PR driver’s license and a personal vehicle to visit contractor and customer sites.
• Must be able to travel throughout the LUMA service territory, up to approximately 60% of the time (mainly day travel).
• Confident with an ability to quickly build trusting relationships, sell concepts at all levels of an organization, and manage multiple time-dependent tasks simultaneously.
• Strong proficiency in developing and delivering formal presentations.
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, CRM tools.

· Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
